Position: Driver 

Location: Belfast, Mpumalanga

   1. Job Requirement:

•      Reside In Emakhazeni (Belfast, Machadodorp, Waterval Boven and Dullstroom) or surrounding farms

•      Must be above 25 years old  

•      No criminal record  

•      Candidate must have minimum 3 years of experience  

•      Be self-motivated

•      Applicant should not be working

•      Ability to drive long hours.

•      No recent moving or driving violations

•      Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)

•      Valid code 14 driver’s license

•      Valid pdp

2. Who can apply:

• This position is open to both male and female applicants who meet the above qualification

3. Job Responsibilities

•      Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centre’s

•      Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

•      Plan routes and meet delivery schedules 

•      Document and log work/rest periods and kilometre’s spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

•      Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

•      Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions

•      Collect and verify delivery instructions 

•      Report defects, accidents or violation
